Coombe Medical Practice offers a choice of registration. Patients can join as Retainer patients or Non-retainer patients. Retainer patients pay an annual fee, currently £60 for an individual patient or £215 for a family of four (rates for other numbers below). The retainer scheme runs from 1st August until 31st July the following year.

Retainer patients benefit from reduced consultation/visit rates and can avail themselves of some services free of charge. Please see list of charges below.

Family members are taken to be from the same family unit and resident at the same address. The Retainer year runs from 1st August to 31st July the following year. Patients may join at any time during the twelve months, but full payment must be made as above; such patients may therefore prefer to pay at the non-retainer rate, joining the scheme on 1st August the following year.

Fees for other services, eg individual vaccines, dressings, cervical smears, contraceptive implants, circumcisions, operations etc available on request.

* Home visiting rates above apply to 'local' visits (Coombe, Kingston, New Malden, SW19 and SW20). There is an additional £25 charge for visits to surrounding areas (eg SW15, Surbiton and Ham). Visits further afield will not be undertaken (Patients already registered with the Practice who live outside the immediate area will need to attend the Clinic as home visits to these addresses will no longer be undertaken). Interest at 3% above base rate will be charged on accounts outstanding by more than two weeks
